Description

Matrix 8ft LED Bar Rental Chicago

The Matrix 8ft LED Bar is the larger of our two sculptural illuminated bars. Like the 6ft, it is a continuous rounded form with no square corners, so the light carries around the ends in one unbroken sweep and the bar reads as a single glowing object from every side. It lights in a range of colors to match your event palette.

At 96 inches it holds a large room. Two bartenders work it comfortably with surface left over for garnish trays, ice, and a point-of-sale station. The unbroken curve reads the same from any approach, which makes the Matrix 8ft LED Bar a natural island bar for an open floor, or the anchor a ballroom layout is built around.

The back is open, the same as every bar in our program, so the bartender works and entertains standing behind it. There is no built-in shelving, so a back-bar shelf handles bottles and glassware behind the service line. The counter sits at 42 inches, standard bar height, so bar-height stools pull up to the guest side. We deliver, set, and strike throughout Chicago and the suburbs, including Galleria Marchetti, the Geraghty, downtown hotels, and corporate campuses across Chicagoland.

FAQ

How many bartenders can work behind the 8ft Matrix bar?

Two comfortably, with counter left over for garnish trays, ice, and a point-of-sale station. The extra two feet over the 6ft Matrix buys working surface rather than a third pouring position.

Is there shelving inside the bar?

No. The back is open so staff can work behind it, but nothing is built in. Our Wood Bar Shelf is the usual companion piece, and on a bar this size it is worth adding for back-up bottles and glassware.

What is the difference between the 6ft and 8ft Matrix bars?

Length only. Both share the same rounded form, the same 24-inch depth, the same 42-inch bar height, and the same range of lighting colors. The 8ft gives two bartenders more elbow room and a larger presence in a big room.

What stools work with this bar?

Bar-height stools. Our Payton Bar Stools have a 30-inch seat height, the standard pairing for a 42-inch bar, and their silver or gold frames catch the light coming off the bar body.
