Charging Furniture

Charging Furniture Rental in Chicago

At any event that runs longer than an hour, phones run low. Charging furniture builds power into the pieces guests already use, so they can top up a phone while they sit and talk instead of hunting for a wall outlet. Modern Event Rental offers charging furniture rental in Chicago for conferences, corporate meetings, sponsor lounges and receptions.

The powered collection

Our Spark line includes sofas, loveseats and armchairs in black or white with charging built into the arm, plus coffee tables, cube tables, a communal bar table and a long cafe table with charging in the top. Every piece matches, so you can build a complete powered lounge or add one powered table to a standard group.

Where charging furniture works best

• Conference lounges and networking areas between sessions
• Sponsor lounges, where it keeps guests in your space longer
• Registration and waiting areas
• Work tables for laptops at all-day meetings

Charging pieces pair with our standard lounge seating in black and white.

Charging Furniture Rental FAQ

Does charging furniture need an outlet?

Yes. Each powered piece plugs into a standard outlet or the power supplied at your venue. Plan power drops near where the furniture will sit.

Do you deliver and set up across Chicago?

Yes. We deliver, place and pick up throughout downtown Chicago and the Loop, River North, the West Loop and Fulton Market, the South Loop, and the suburbs, including Rosemont and the O’Hare area, Schaumburg, Oak Brook and the North Shore.

Can we mix charging and standard furniture?

Yes. The Spark pieces share the clean lines of our black and white lounge seating, so one powered table or sofa fits into a standard group.
